1. What is the SingTel Partner Programme i.Challenge08?
It is an invitation to all Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to develop Information Communication Technology (ICT) solutions on high-speed connectivity that addresses real industry challenges.
2. Which challenge can I take part in?
You can take part in any of 4 categories*: Healthcare (Integrated Patient Records), Logistics (Remote Vehicle Diagnostics), Human Resource (Workplace Innovation), and Consumer Mobile Application.

*This is subjected to 1 entry per company, business or individual. SingTel reserves the rights to re-categorise your submission.
3. Can I participate in more than 1 category?
No. Only 1 entry per company, business or individual is allowed.
4. Can anybody take part in the SPP i.Challenge08 competition?
  • Yes, participants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • SingTel Partner Programme members are required to register for an i.Challenge08 account to be a participant. Click here to register now!
  • Singapore-based businesses or companies or individuals are required to register as a SingTel Partner Programme & SingTel Partner Programme i.Challenge08 member before they are allowed to enter in the competition. Click here to register now!
  • Overseas-based businesses or companies or individuals will have to complete a SingTel Partner Programme i.Challenge08 registration form to before they are allowed to enter in the competition. Click here to register now!
5. How long does the SPP i.Challenge08 competition run for? When do I need to submit my entry?
Registration and submission for the SPP i.Challenge08 competition begins at 12:00:01am on 1 November 2008, and ends at 11:59:59pm on 31 January 2009. All submissions must be done online, and acknowledgement emails have to be received by the candidate by 11:59:59 pm on 31 January 2008.
6. How do I enter my submission?
You have to be a registered member of SingTel Partner Programme i.Challenge08 to be eligible to submit your solution - visit www.singtel.com/partner/ichallenge and follow the links to register for an i.Challenge08 account.

Participants shall categorise their submissions under one of the following competition categories: Healthcare; Logistics; Human Resource or Consumer Mobile Applications.

To complete the entry process, participants must login to their i.Challenge08 accounts, and follow the step-by-step process, which includes:
  • A written description of the beta/working solution;
  • Answer a series of pre-defined questions on the benefits of solution;
  • The devices it will support;
  • Up to 2 pages of instructions on how to use the solution (including screen shot in a PowerPoint file; and
  • A beta version of the solution itself.
The i.Challenge08 account will be valid only for the duration of the submission period.
7. What happens once I have submitted my entry?
All entries will go through a short-listing process (see Rules & Regulations for Judging Criteria).

The top 3 in each category will be selected as Finalists. By 20 February 2009, SingTel will notify all Finalists. Please note that only short-listed Finalists will be notified.

The Finalists will be invited to attend the Final Judging that will be held by SingTel.

Each Finalist will be required to do a presentation of their solution and how it addresses the industry's challenges to a panel of judges, hailing from the relevant industries. This will be followed by a Q&A session with the panel.

The winners will be announced within 2 weeks of the presentation and will be invited to the SingTel Partner Programme Awards and Appreciation Dinner Ceremony in March 09.
